Basic & In-depth Evaluations

At ICSB Florida, we offer two main types of semen evaluations.

1. The first is a basic evaluation. This evaluation is where the semen is collected then looked at to see general motility, concentration and abnormalities. This is a good option to make sure a male has sperm prior to breeding. It can also be used for a “clean out” prior to a collect and freeze appointment.
2. A more in-depth evaluation is our semen evaluation with count. We will be able to supply the owner with a full count of sperm, along with a count and type of abnormal sperm.
